On this occasion the Managing Director, Shri A.K. Jain iterated that Company is mainly focused on three areas- how to improve productivity per person, turnover per person and profit per person. The Company is working on Make In India, Skill India, Digital India, National Solar Mission & National Dairy Plan. Shri A.K. Jain reiterated that the Company is focusing on how we can improve our Geographical reach, Costumers, Innovation and number of patents. Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit 2015 Highlights:
- The two-day global investment meet organised on 19, 20th November 2015 by the Government of Rajasthan in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
- Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit 2015 attracted commitments of investments from 295 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) amounting to Rs. 3,21,199 crore with proposed employment for 2,39,694 lakh people.
- 9 MoUs in energy sector worth Rs 190,000 crores
122 MoUs in tourism sector worth Rs 5783 crores
40 MoUs in manufacturing sector worth Rs 11760 crores - The largest number of MoUs were signed in tourism sector. At 122, the investment commitments stand at Rs 5783 crore. This is expected to generate 18617 jobs in the sector.
- The medical and health sector, with 36 MoUs and expected investments of Rs 4752 crore, will create the largest number of jobs, touching 81605.
- 10 MoUs signed in the agriculture sector worth Rs 2402 crore – this will lead to 5317 people getting employed.
- Under roads and highways, the state signed one MoU worth Rs 10,000 crore in addition to the 4 award of sanctions worth Rs 25446 crore
- Petroleum & Mines sector attracted proposed investments worth Rs 77,657 crore through 25 MoUs that can create 18,472 jobs in the State.
Marble Industry in Rajasthan
Marble Industry in Rajasthan: Rajasthan has a large spectrum of minerals in which building stones enjoy an important place. Marble occupies a unique position among building stones due to its pleasant look and easy carving. The term marble is derived from the Latin world "marmor" which itself comes from the Greek root "marmarous", meaning thereby a shining stone. Marble occurrences are widely distributed in India. However, occurrences of economic importance are limited to a few states namely Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujrat, Hariyana and Andhra Pradesh. Makrana marble and green marble have became famous world over. Rajasthan has the largest resorces of good quality marble in India. Marble industry of Rajasthan has a very old history, dating back to the time of Mogul Empire when the architectural marvel of the country - Taj Mahal - was built. Temples of Delwara in Mount Abu and Ranakpur are also testimonials of ancient marble industry of princely state of Rajasthan.
About 85% country's production is shared by Rajasthan. It has produced
4278.63 thousand tonnes of marble during 1999-2000 worth for Rs.
42903.15 lac rupees (Sale value). About 46% marble production of the state comes from Rajsamand district. It has produced 1700.844 thousand tonnes of marble against the total production of 3653.312 thousand tonnes during 1999-2000. Nagaur having 581 thousand tonnes production stands second and Alwar ranks third (565 th. tonnes).

Kalisindh Super Thermal Power plant: World's Tallest Thermal Power Plant is Ready for Production Kalisindh, super thermal power plant located at Jhalawer, Rajasthan is
all set to start power production from the month of May, 2013. The
capacity of world's tallest super thermal plant with two units of 600
mega watts each is 2.40 crore units of power. Government of Rajasthan is
providing financial support to this project, the estimated cost of which is Rs. 7727 crore. The construction of this mega thermal power plant is being looked after by the BGR company.
Project Highlights:
• Tallest cooling towers 202 mt high.
• 2.40 crore units power production capacity per day
• 20000 tonnes of coal will be consumed in the production
• 80000 houses (approximately) will receive power everyday
• 3200 people will get employment

Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC): Under the Eleventh Five Year Plan of India(2007–2012), Ministry of Railways is constructing a new Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) covering about 2762 route km long two routes - the Eastern Corridor from Ludhiana to Dankuni and the Western Corridor from Jawahar Lal Nehru Port, at Nhava Sheva in Navi Mumbai to Tughlakabad, Delhi/Dadri along with interlinking of two corridors at Khurja. Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) is a
corporation run by the Government of India to undertake planning &
development, mobilisation of financial resources and construction,
maintenance and operation of the Dedicated Freight Corridors.
Western Corridor of Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) is 1,483 km long rail corridor connecting the Jawaharlal Nehru Port near Mumbai with Dadri near Delhi. The DFC is in planning stages and is to be constructed by 2016. 39% of the corridor will pass through Rajasthan, creating new opportunities for companies located in Rajasthan to access the large Western and Northern domestic markets, as well as international markets via ports on the western seaboard. The DFC will provide high speed, double stacked container rail connectivity that will reduce transit time, costs and increase reliability.

Manchester of Rajasthan - Bhilwara
Bhilwara or Bhilwada city of Rajasthan is known as Manchester of Rajasthan for its major holding in textile business of Rajasthan and India. The major industry is textiles, with more than 400 manufacturing units in the town. The main textile product is synthetic fabric used in trousers. It began with a spinning and knitting company named mewar textile mills, owned by Industrialist Shri Sampatmal Lodha, started in year 1938. There after Shri Laxmi niwas Jhunjhunwala started his first unit for synthetic textile in the year 1961 at Bhilwara. Then many other units came up. The turnover of the textile industry is more than Rs. 10,000 crore p.a. The city has 9 major spinning mills and 5 small spinning mills. The total spindlage installed at Bhilwara are approx. 4.50 lacs about 40% of the State capacity.

Rajasthan Explosives & Chemicals Ltd: Rajasthan Explosives and Chemicals Limited (RECL) is factory based on Dholpur district of Rajasthan. RECL Dholpur manufactures material used for explosives and detonators in various industries specially for works related to Mining and other activities.
The production capacity of Rajasthan Explosives and Chemicals Limited (RECL) is about 27,500 metric tons every year. The company produces explosives, detonators, detonator fuses and boosters.

2. KALISINDH TPS UNIT-2 = 600 MW expected date of completion: June 2013.
