Open Art Gallery, Jaipur

The 'Open Art Gallery' setup in Jaipur city recently has provided an effective forum to the Tribal Folk Artists of the State to showcase their art to the World. This would not only strengthen their economic condition but also provide patronage to the art and the artists of the state. At the initiative of the Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje, the open art gallery was inaugurated by Jaipur Nagar Nigam through the 'Must Art Gallery' of Delhi on 2nd October, 2015. Photos and information of tribal folk artists of Rajasthan have been displayed through 40 hoardings, 40 bus shelters and side panels of other 30 buses at different places in the city.
In the first phase the Jogi art of Rajasthan has been displayed. This is an excellent art of the artists of Magriwada of Sirohi. The artists of Jogi art have been called to Jaipur to publicize this art. Display of other folk arts would be taken in the next phase. In the coming phases the general public would also be able to purchase the artifacts of folk artists through exhibitions. A special cell has been constituted under this scheme in Nagar Nigam Jaipur.

केन्द्रीय पशुधन प्रजनन फार्म, सूरतगढ़ (श्रीगंगानगर) । Central cattle Breeding Farm, Suratgarh (Ganganagar): Central Cattle Breeding Farm(CCBF) Suratgarh(Rajasthan) was established in the year 1967 under Centrally administered / plan – scheme of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying. The other Central Cattle Breeding Farms are located at Suratgarh ( Rajasthan), Chiplima and Sunabeda (Orissa), Dhamrod (Gujarat), Hessarghatta (Karnataka), Alamadhi (TamilNadu) and Andeshnagar (U.P). are maintaining bull mothers of important cattle and buffalo breeds which include Tharparkar, Red Sindhi, Jersey, Holstein Friesian, Crossbred (HF x Tharparkar, Jersey x Red Sindhi), Surti and Murrah.
The objectives of CCBF Suratgarh:

• Progressive heritable improvement for milk production in Tharparkar cattle by following scientific methods.
• The Breed maintained at Suratgarh (Rajasthan) is mainly Tharparkar.
• Production and distribution of superior pedigreed breeding bulls for using them in cattle breeding programme.
• Training of the farmers in improved farm practices and dairy cattle management.

बकरी विकास एवं चारा उत्पादन परियोजना, रामसर (अजमेर) । Indo Swiss Goat Development and Fodder Production Project (ISGP), Ramsar (Ajmer): Indo swiss Goat Development and Fodder Production Project (ISGP) was established in 1981 in Ramsar village of Ajmer district in Rajasthan through an agreement between the Government of India and Switzerland. ISGP was implemented through the Rajashtan state department of Animal husbandry with technical cooperation from inter-cooperation Berne.
The main objective of the project were to develop strategies for sustainable improvement of goat production in the semi-arid farming system of rajasthan in order to improve the income generating capacity and nutrition of families belonging to the weaker sections of the rural community.

रक्षा अनुसंधान प्रयोगशाला, जोधपुर (Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur): Defence Laboratory (DLJ) is westernmost located, an strategically important laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). Previously located in Ratanada Palace, Jodhpur, now shifted to the New Technical Complex(NTC). Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur (DLJ) deal with the problems related to environmental condition in desert and their impact on desert warfare. The initial charter allotted to the laboratory was: "Undertaking field trials on weapons and equipment which were either newly designed or developed in the country or were being manufactured indigenously with imported know-how, besides conducting basic research as applicable in the arid zone, physiological studies, Radio-wave propagation studies and solar energy."  It is responsible for the development and manufacture of electronics and materials required for modern warfare and weapon systems. So main research fields are Materials and electronics.
DRDO के बारे में: रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास संगठन (DRDO) भारत की रक्षा से जुड़े अनुसंधान कार्यों के लिये देश की अग्रणी संस्था है। यह संगठन भारतीय रक्षा मंत्रालय की एक आनुषांगिक ईकाई के रूप में काम करता है। इस संस्थान की स्थापना 1959 में भारतीय थल सेना एवं रक्षा विज्ञान संस्थान के तकनीकी विभाग के रूप में की गयी थी। वर्तमान में संस्थान की अपनी इक्यावन प्रयोगशालाएँ हैं जो इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स, रक्षा उपकरण इत्यादि के क्षेत्र में अनुसंधान में रत हैं। पाँच हजार से अधिक वैज्ञानिक और पच्चीस हजार से भी अधिक तकनीकी कर्मचारी इस संस्था के संसाधन हैं।

राष्ट्रीय घोड़ा अनुसंधान केन्द्र, बीकानेर, National Research Centre on Equines (NRCE), Bikaner: राष्ट्रीय अश्व अनुसंधान केन्द्र का एक परिसर जोड़बीड़, बीकानेर में स्थित है, हालांकि इसका मुख्य केंद्र हरियाणा के हिसार में है ।  राष्ट्रीय घोड़ा अनुसंधान केन्द्र की स्थापना घोड़ों के स्वास्थ्य एवं अनुसंधान हेतु 7 जनवरी 1986 में हिसार (हरयाणा) में की गयी ।  1989 में बीकानेर में राष्ट्रीय घोड़ा अनुसंधान केन्द्र के एक उप-परिसर की स्थापना की गयी जिसका उद्देश्य राजस्थान राजस्थान में घोड़ों के प्रजनन और अनुसंधान के लिए किया गया।
National Research Centre on Equines (NRCE) is a premier institute established under the aegis of Indian Council of Agricultural Research for conducting research on equine health and production. The Centre became operational at Hisar on 7th January 1986 for conducting researches and for providing effective health coverage for equines. A sub-campus at Bikaner, Rajasthan was created during 1989 for conducting researches for improving the technologies for optimization of reproduction and work performance of the equines. The Centre has the responsibility on generation of technologies for augmenting equine performance in order to uplift the socio-economic status of poor equine owners.
