• 1918 ई० में मेवाड़ सरकार के प्रशासनिक सुधारों के विरुद्ध भोमट के भीलों ने आन्दोलन छेड़ दिया।
• गोविन्द गुरु ने भीलों में एकता स्थापित करने का प्रयास किया। मोतीलाल तेजावत ने भील आन्दोलन का नेतृत्व किया, जिसके कारण इस आन्दोलन ने और जोर पकड़ लिया। 
• भीलों ने लागत तथा बेगार करने से इनकार कर दिया। सरकार ने आन्दोलन को कुचलने के लिए दमन - चक्र का सहारा लिया, किन्तु उसे सफलता नहीं मिली।  इस आन्दोलन से भीलों को अनेक सुविधाएँ प्राप्त हुई। 
• भीलों में सर्वप्रथम मोतीलाल तेजावत ने राजनीतिक चेतना जागृत की। इसके बाद भीलों की आर्थिक स्थिति को सुधारने तथा उनके अन्ध - विश्वासों को दूर करने के लिए बनवासी संघ की स्थापना की गई।

Since the implementation of the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) regime, this is the first time a power transmission line has been commissioned ahead of schedule.
• Indian shooter Apurvi Chandela created history when she broke the world record on way to winning gold in the women’s 10 metre air rifle event at the Swedish Cup Grand Prix in Savsjo. Chandela shot 211.2 in the event held on Tuesday to surpass the feat of Chinese Olympic gold medallist Yi Siling, who held the record with 211. The result marked a positive start for Chandela, who has already qualified for the Rio Olympics. 
• Rajasthan's Kheta Ram qualified for the Rio Olympics 2016 by finishing Third among the Indian runners in the Mumbai Marathon.
