Pig Farm in Alwar (Rajasthan):

• Rajasthan Government has established one Piggery Development Training Center at Alwar where 5 days training programme is being conducted free of cost.

• With an idea to provide breedable exotic Pigs to local pig breeders and to encourage the Scientific pig breeding in the state a Pig Breeding Farm is functioning at Alwar.  

• Unit of pig (3 male + 1 female) is being supplied in the Alwar & Bharatpur districts specially to the Schedule Caste, Tribes and marginal farmers. 

• This Pig unit  (3+1 ) is being distributed to the Socially Backward Classes on subsidized rates i.e. @ Rs. 5000 per Unit.

जयपुर प्रजामण्डल (1931) Jaipur Prajamandal:

• 1931 ई॰ मे कपूरचन्द पाटनी ने जयपुर प्रजामण्डल का गठन किया था। यह राजस्थान का प्रथम प्रजामण्डल था।
• सन् 1936  में जयपुर राज्य प्रजा मण्डल का पुनगर्ठन हुआ। इस कार्य के लिए वनस्थली से हीरालाल शास्री को आमन्त्रित किया गया और उन्हें प्रजा मण्डल का प्रधानमंत्री बनाया गया। प्रजामण्डल के सभापति सुप्रसिद्ध एडवोकेट श्री चिरंजीलाल मिश्र बनाए गये। 
• 1938  में प्रजा मण्डल का पहला अधिवेशन जयपुर में हुआ। इसके अध्यथ सेठ जमनालाल बजाज थे। 
• 1940 ई॰मे हीरालाल शास्त्री जयपुर प्रजामण्डल के अध्य्क्ष बने थे।
• 1942 ई॰मे भारत छोङो आँदोलन के समय जयपुर के प्रधानमँत्री मिर्जा इस्माइल ने हीरालाल शास्त्री के साथ "जैन्टलमैन एग्रीमेन्ट"किया था। जिसके अनुसार जयपुर प्रजामण्डल के सदस्यो ने भारत छोङो आँदोलन मे भाग नहीँ लिया परँतु जो सदस्य भाग लेना चाहते थे उन्होने बाबा हरिश्चन्द्र के नेत्रत्व मे "आजाद मोर्चे"का गठन करके भाग लिया था।
• 1944 ई॰मे जानकी लाल बजाज ने जयपुर प्रजामण्डल की अध्य्क्षता की थी 
• 15 मई, 1946 को प्रजामण्डल के प्रतिनिधि के रुप में देवी शंकर तिवारी को मंत्रिमंडल में सम्मिलित किया गया। 27 मार्च, 1947 को नया मंत्रिमंडल बना, जिसमें 7 सदस्यों में से 4 सदस्य प्रजामण्डल के व 2  जागीरदार वर्ग के थे। 
• नवम्बर, 1948 में जयपुर महाराजा राजस्थान में मिलने को सहमत हो गये, जिसकी राजधानी जयपुर व महाराजा राज प्रमुख बने। श्री हीरालाल शास्री पुनर्गठित राजस्थान के मुख्यमंत्री पद पर आसीन हुए।
• अप्रैल, 1949 को जयपुर राजस्थान का एक अंग बन गया।

Bhamashah Swasthya Bima Yojana: Bhamashah Swasthya Bima Yojana ( Bhamashah Health Insurance Scheme) is cashless health care facilities through private and public health care providers in rajasthan. In September 2015 a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is signed for the ambitious Bhamashah Swasthya Bima Yojana ( Bhamashah Health Insurance Scheme) between Medical & Health Department of Rajasthan and the New India Assurance Company in the presence of Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje.  Rajasthan is the third state to start Swasthya Bima Yojana (Health Insurance Scheme) after Maharashtra and Tamilnadu. More than 4.5 crore people of the state will get benefit of the quality cashless health care facilities through private and public health care providers under the scheme.  The Chief Minister said our goal is to improve access of all citizens to quality medical & health care and the enactment of the Swasthya Bima Yojana in the state will create more possibilities of opening of quality private hospitals in rural areas and it will also reduce the pressure on government hospitals. The scheme will help in preparing of health database and this database will help in taking policy decisions related to medical & health sector.  

The insurance cover for general illness has been set as Rs. 30,000 while Rs. 3 lakh has been set for critical illness. The insurance cover for critical illness is Rs. 1.5 lakh in Tamilnadu and Rs. 2.5 lakh in Maharashtra, he said. The administrative cost for this scheme is also less in our state in comparison with other states.

Sunil Arora appointed Secretary (I&B)

Sunil Arora, IAS (Rajasthan: 1980) today assumed charge as Secretary in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. Prior to his appointment, Shri Arora was Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India. Shri Arora has served in various capacities at both the Centre and State. At the Centre he has worked in Ministries/ Departments such as Finance, Textiles and Planning Commission. 

He also served as Joint Secretary in Ministry of Civil Aviation during 1999- 2002 and CMD, Indian Airlines for five years (two years as additional charge and three years as full charge). In Rajasthan, besides districts postings in Dholpur, Alwar, Nagaur and Jodhpur he was Secretary to the Chief Minister, Rajasthan during 1993- 1998 and Principal Secretary to CM (2005- 2008) and handled Information and Public Relations (IPR), Industries & Investment Departments. Shri Arora is a Post Graduate in English.
